Smokin Joe is an attractive dark pointed brown ideal for breeding highly advanced fleece charateristics into dark colours. Smokin Joe has a strong frame and excellent conformation. He grows a very large fleece which handles beautifully. His dam's fleece is still outstanding at 8 years of age (21micron at 2011 shear) and we expect Smokin Joe to hold his qualities as he matures as well. We recommend this male to black and coloured breeders wanting to improve both conformation and fleece characteristics. An interesting attritube we have found with Smokin Joe is that he consistently produces dark coloured cria out of light coloured females.

Smokin Joe has a proud presence about himself, a true herdsire. His first season of cria have arrived and they are looking superb, many of these are now doing well in the show ring such as Reserve Champion Brown at Rotorua Colour Show 2012.
