Franklin Show is a Success

The 125th Franklin A&P Show was a great day out. Our diverse Waiheke Show Team took out several hotly contended classses. This was Waiheke Phenomenom ET's first show and he came out on top with Champion Junior Huacaya and runner-up Supreme at just 6 months old. He is from our best ET sire/dam combination of Benleigh Sancho and Silverstream Divinity. Waiheke Alpaca was consistant again winning both Champion Black awards with Waiheke Black Sheik (pictured below) in the Huacaya breed and Waiheke Black Knight in the Suri breed. At Surilana Troubador's second outing in the show ring he won Reserve Champion Senior Suri. The Alpacaspecialist Elivs brothers did their father proud in Sires Progeny with another 2nd placing against all colours.
The Sunday after the show was an excellent day for the public to get hands-on with our show team and learn about these magnificant animals.
